Course objectives: contingency planning
The contingency planning course has the following objectives:
- To develop the ability to identify the contingencies that need to be taken into account in the business continuity contingency plan.
- To learn how to assess business contingencies in order to incorporate significant contingencies into the business continuity contingency plan.
- To acquire the skills to draw up a business continuity contingency plan that helps to deal with potential business disruptions arising from unforeseen circumstances, such as economic instability, environmental incidents or other unexpected risks.
- To have criteria for keeping the business continuity contingency plan up to date
Course methodology
The contingency planning course can be delivered in-house (request a quote) or online.
The course alternates between theoretical and participatory sessions using the case study method. Learning through the case study method is a practical way of approaching the realities of business. Supplementary documentation and materials will be provided.
Upon successful completion of the contingency planning course, participants will receive a certificate of completion.
