Objectives of the ISO 14001 Environmental Management Course

Upon completion of the ISO 14001 Environmental Management course, participants will be able to:

  • Understand the requirements of ISO 14001 and the EMAS Regulation.
  • Undertake the project to implement an environmental management system in accordance with ISO 14001 or EMAS, in order to achieve ISO 14001 certification, being able to identify and assess environmental aspects, and familiarise themselves with environmental legislation and its requirements.
  • Be able to lead and maintain the environmental management system in accordance with ISO 14001 or the EMAS Regulation, using appropriate environmental indicators, and to plan and carry out audits of the ISO 14001 and EMAS environmental management systems.

ISO 14001 Environmental Management Course Methodology

The ISO 14001 course can be delivered either in-house or online. The teaching is interactive, combining the course manual with practical case studies using the case-study method. In addition, supplementary reading material will be recommended alongside the ISO 14001 and EMAS environmental management training manual.

Upon successful completion of the course, participants will receive a certificate of attendance.
