The ISO 45001 audit serves as a framework and guide for the occupational health and safety programme, with a view to improving its effectiveness. When conducting the audit, the following must be taken into account:
- Planning the ISO 45001 audit so that all processes and requirements of the standard are audited at least once a year.
- Selection of the audit team. The company must define its audit procedure. It must be possible to conduct the audit with an external audit team.
