Safety management standards

The main certifiable standards in safety management are:
ISO 45001 – Occupational health and safety

ISO 45001 Occupational Health and Safety Certificate, in accordance with the ISO 45001 standard. It improves occupational health and safety, prevents accidents and protects health in the workplace.

ISO 27001 certification in accordance with the ISO 27001 standard for information security. It aims to protect information by ensuring the confidentiality, integrity and availability of data.

ENS – National Security Framework, setting out guidelines for protecting public data systems and ensuring their security, confidentiality and availability.

AEO – Authorised Economic Operator: streamlining and security in the supply chain.

  • IFS Food, aimed at food manufacturers who process products or handle bulk goods.
  • IFS Global Markets – Food, certification for small and medium-sized food businesses that are in the process of implementing food safety systems and wish to progress towards IFS Food certification.
  • IFS Logistics for companies involved in the storage, distribution, transport (refrigerated or otherwise) and logistics of food or non-food products.
  • IFS Broker, aimed at companies that act as intermediaries between manufacturers and retailers without handling the product, such as brokers, traders and commercial agents.
  • IFS HPC (Household and Personal Care Products), certification for manufacturers of personal care and household products.
  • IFS PAC secure, aimed at manufacturers of packaging materials that will come into contact with food or other sensitive products.
  • IFS Cash & Carry / Wholesale. Certification for wholesale and cash-and-carry businesses that handle food products.

There are also the IFS Global Markets – Logistics and IFS ESG Check standards.
