ISO certification at the District Council

ISO certification at the Maresme Regional Council (CCM) in Mataró (Barcelona) in accordance with the ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 standards. The Regional Council, with its integrated ISO 9001 quality and ISO 14001 environmental management certification, bases its commitment on serving the local councils of the Maresme region to address the new needs arising at the supra-municipal level. In this way, it ensures continuous improvement.

The scope of the ISO certification at the Maresme Regional Council is:

• Management of services complementary to education, school transport, school canteens and individual meal subsidies. Provision of vocational training services
• Management of the Maresme regional urban wastewater treatment service. Regional service for the control and inspection of industrial wastewater discharges in the Maresme. Management of the regional drinking water supply service for the northern Maresme. Regional meteorological service for the Maresme and the offices of the Maresme Regional Council.

The Integrated Management System of the Maresme Regional Council (Mataró), certified to the ISO 9001 quality and ISO 14001 environmental management standards, has integrated its ‘Balanced Scorecard’, its ‘Training Plan’ and its ‘paperless ISO’ management system.
