Product certification
The purpose of product, process and service certification is to demonstrate to customers, the market and regulatory bodies that a supplier produces products, develops processes or provides services that meet defined quality requirements.
Product certification can be obtained from the most prestigious certification bodies. Among the certification bodies accredited by ENAC, we highlight AENOR (N mark), SGS, TÜV, Lloyds, Bureau Veritas and Applus.
The accreditation of product certification bodies that award quality labels or marks is the most widely accepted system for building confidence in such marks, and therefore in the quality they represent.
Product certificate at Grupo Torre
The Torre Group comprises Válvulas Torre and Torre Gas. The Group is certified to ISO 9001, with a scope covering ‘the design and manufacture of stems, valves, adapters, tools and fittings for gas pipelines. Inspection and maintenance of tools and
equipment for gas pipelines (drilling, ballooning and connection equipment). Design and manufacture of bronze valves, service connection collars, electrofusion fittings, tools and accessories for water supply networks’.
Product certification is integrated into the ISO 9001 quality certificate.
Thanks to our strategic outsourcing in Badalona, Grupo Torre has just renewed its product certification with AENOR. Thus, Grupo Torre’s gas-related products carry the quality guarantee of AENOR’s N Certificate.
