What is the SMETA ethical trade audit?
The SMETA audit for ethical trade and social responsibility uses the SMETA methodology. It is based on the Ethical Trading Initiative (ETI) Code and local legislation as a benchmarking tool. It takes into account aspects relating to health and safety; labour standards; the environment; and business ethics.
The SMETA Ethical Trade and Social Responsibility audit is designed to share the results of the ethical trade audit with multiple clients.
